NAMI TERRACE GEISEI is a project launched by Ishikawa Kyoei Real Estate in Konan City and Wa Construction, which handles condominiums in Kochi Prefecture, with the aim of creating a tourist base that will become a symbol for the regional revitalization of Geisei Village. As a result of expressing our thoughts through crowdfunding, we received the support of many people and built a playful accommodation facility on a hill with a view of the ocean.
Each facility was created through a new challenge for architects.
The first is a container house
The second is yacht modification.
The third one is a 3D printer
The fourth step was the construction of the detached building, ``DEAUVILLE''. It was built by processing local building materials locally and making full use of digital fabrication proposed by architectural venture ``VUILD.'' These are construction methods that are attracting attention and are bringing a new breeze to construction sites that are suffering from a lack of human resources and costs.
You can feel a sense of playfulness and consideration throughout the building components, which were created by designers and craftsmen on site, bringing their ideas together.
